Our Flex-shell may be installed without removing the expansion joint assembly, encasing the bellows element with the named new element: 

The new replacement bellows is cut in two halves and reassembled in field by clamping it around the leaking bellows element and welding the halves together.

Flexider clam-shell welders have passed significants training, testing and qualifications; the longitudinal weld along the convoluted surface is a demanding weld.
